Health Care Center

Through the LUG aircargo handling GmbH Health Care Center (HCC) in Frankfurt, we offer the professional, secure and, above all, reliable handling of pharmaceutical goods.

To maintain the cold chain, we use a 815 sqm temperature-controlled storage facility that is integrated directly into our hall. This storage facility is divided into six separate cold rooms for the temperature ranges of 2-8°C and 15-25°C, as well as a deep-freeze room at a temperature of down to -18°C and two HUM rooms. Enclosed truck ramps enable goods to be loaded and unloaded while protected against the elements.

The facilities include corresponding temperature mapping, live monitoring with an alarm system, and temperature logging.

Our temperature controlled storage facility is CEIV Pharma certified. The certificate can be viewed in the download area.

Currently three of our customer airlines are certified in accordance with IATA CEIV and/or GDP. In combination with their certified cargo handlers at destination or origin airports LUG is part of six consistent pharma corridors.
